Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter this year!  Sophia was looking forward to it for weeks and was so excited when it was finally Easter weekend.  Nana and Pops were able to come to Frisco for the weekend and we all had a great time celebrating.

The fun started when we met the Easter bunny at the mall!
We try to go to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt every year...the kids had a blast!  They are always a little nervous at first because of all of the people.
The Easter bunny still had a ton of eggs to throw on the ground.
Sophia filled her basket up!
This was Addison's first Easter egg hunt!  She got the hang of it right away.
Happily eating some candy!
Easter party at school.
Addison is helping Sophia go through her loot.
Cheese!
We had another Easter egg hunt at our house Saturday since Sunday was supposed to rain.
Addison loved it!
Sophia is a pro now!

Opening every egg :)
Happy Easter!  (this is after church and we had been rained on)

Addison is 18 Months!

Time sure does fly!  Our sweet baby isn't such a baby anymore.  Addison turned 18 months old on April 2nd, and is turning into such a little girl.  She is talking up a storm (way more than Sophia was at this point) and has such a fun and silly personality.  This girl loves her family and wants to do everything her big sister is doing!  She loves playing anything...running, swinging, coloring, reading, building legos, you name it...if she is doing it with Sophia (or mommy or daddy) then she is happy.  She has become very attached to her daddy!  The minute he gets home she runs up to him screaming and stays by his side until she goes to bed.  This little munchkin loves to eat almost anything, she is a great sleeper, she loves her pacifier, and she is pretty much a happy kid!  Oh and she is adventurous, has no fear, loves to climb, and is always trying to do what her sister does, which keeps me on my toes.  We love this sweet girl so much and feel so blessed that she is ours.  Here are some pics of our precious 18 month old.

Practicing her "cheese"
She loves Abby!  And Abby is SO tolerant of her.
Swinging is her favorite!!
Don't let that cute face fool you, she is about to go dump all of the shoes out of that bucket!
Her first popsicle...Yum!
Sleepy girl
She is obsessed with wearing everyone's shoes!!
She loves to color!!
We just went in for her 18 month check-up and she is doing great.  She is still right on target, maybe a bit on the chunky side!  She had 2 shots and did not cry.  Here are her stats.

Height:  32 inches (65%)
Weight: 25 pounds (60%)
Head: 18 inches (35%)

We love you to pieces Addison Rose!!

New York Vacation

My mom, sister and I were able to to go to New York at the beginning of March for a vacation/to celebrate my mom's 60th birthday.  My mom had never been to New York before so it was extra special.  There were a lot of things we wanted to do and tried to fit as much in as we could, while still trying to relax and enjoy the scenery around us when possible!  Despite being cold, the weather was really nice and we were happy it did not snow or rain at all while we were there.  We had a really wonderful time and it was definitely a trip to remember!  A huge thank you to Jeramy, Grandma, and Pops for watching the kids while I was gone!  You all are the best!!

Ready to ride the subway for the first time!

We spent a lot of time in the 9/11 Museum and I took a lot of pictures!  But I won't post them all.
