Easter 2014!

We had such a fabulous Easter weekend!!  This year was special because it was Addison's first Easter and also because Sophia was so excited about everything!  It started off Thursday morning when Sophia had her Easter party at school.  They had snacks and she had her first Easter egg hunt of the weekend.  I don't have any pictures, but she had so much fun! 

Saturday morning we had our neighborhood Easter egg hunt!  Conor and Jules came over and we all went together.  She was so excited but ended up getting terrified of the Easter bunny...and the Chick-Fil-A cow that was there.  She kept telling us she wanted to go home.  She ended up having fun on the playground and even managed to pick up a few eggs at the egg hunt.

Easter Sunday was a wonderful day!  We all woke up and started getting dressed and as soon as Sophia came downstairs she ran to the living room and saw her Easter basket.  She was so excited to see a new baby and came to tell us.  She quickly started looking at everything else in her basket and was so genuinely excited, it was really cute.  She even ran to tell Addison about her Easter basket. :)  The 4 of us went to church together which was really nice.  Then we went over to the Sano's house who were kind enough to have us over for lunch.  We had a great time hanging out, eating yummy food, playing and of course watching the Spurs beat the Mavs!

Bluebonnets!

Here are our bluebonnet pictures for this year! We had to squeeze them in over Easter weekend.  I'm glad we were able to go take them before all of the bluebonnets were gone!  I am happy with how they came out, especially the 2 girls together!

Six months!

Addison turned 6 months old today!  I know I say it all the time, but can't believe she is already 6 months old.  Having two kids has kept me really busy and I feel like the time has really flown by this time around.  Addison is still the best baby, so sweet and always happy.  We love her so much and have enjoyed every minute with her.

I took her to the doctor today and she is doing great.  First of all her stats:
Weight: 18 pounds 6 ounces (90%)
Height: 26 1/2 inches - (75%)
Head circumference: 16 1/2 inches - (35%)

This month:

• She started rolling over from stomach to back and is getting better at that.  She still gets stuck and very frustrated when she tries to roll from back to stomach.
• She is not sitting yet but is getting close.
• We started her on solids a few weeks ago and she loves them!  So far she eats 2-3 tbsp of rice cereal for lunch and normally 1 whole jar of fruit or veggie for dinner.  She likes apples, pears, bananas, carrots and sweet potatoes. 
• Wears 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
• She is sleeping from about 9pm-8am.  She also still takes 3 naps a day with the longest being about 2 1/2 or 3 hours in the afternoon. 
• The last few weeks have been rough at night.  Addison has been waking up every few hours and I'm pretty sure it's due to teething.  Some nights are better/worse than others, but please let this end soon!!  I stopped swaddling her this month which has also been an adjustment.
• She found her feet and loves to play with them.
• She loves to grab anything and everything and sticks all of her toys and hands in her mouth.   
• She started taking baths with her sister and they both love it!

Vegas Vacation

Jeramy and I were able to go to Las Vegas for 4 full days in March!  We had a fabulous time sleeping in, eating way too much at wonderful restaurants, drinking as much as we wanted, going to 2 awesome shows, walking around the beautiful hotels, and of course gambling.  We had so much fun and were so thankful to both of our parents for taking such great care of our girls. 

We got to fly first class! (It was my first time!) So that was exciting.

 I guess you could say we had a lucky trip!  We won a good amount of money mostly on penny slots. :)  More importantly, we had so much fun!!  Until our next vacation....

Five Months Old

Our baby girl is 5 months old!  Sweet baby girl is growing up too fast...I am trying to savor these baby days as much as possible.

• This month Addison weighs 16 pounds and 6 ounces. Big girl! :)
• Her loves are: mommy, being near Sophia, bath time, putting things in her mouth, sucking her fingers, her pacifier, eating :)
• Pretty happy all the time and super ticklish...love her giggles!
• She is still sleeping decent at night, from about 8:30-8ish...but wakes up once every night to eat.  She naps 3 times per day with the longest nap in the afternoon.  Still swaddled.
• She eats about 6 times a day.  
• Still no solids.
• She is wearing size 2 diapers and size 6 or 9 month clothes. 
• She had her first sickness this month...luckily just a cold.

Love Day

Valentine's Day was so much fun this year!  Sophia got to have a party at preschool and then we did some fun stuff at home to celebrate with the girls.  Jeramy and I did not go out but we did celebrate at home with flowers, chocolate and wine!
