October Fun!

We have been enjoying October!  Fall is such a fun time around here with festivals, pumpkin patches, football games, and great fall weather!  Here is our littlest Aggie cheerleader during one of the games. :)

I love when our girls play happily together!

We went to buy pumpkins in matching dresses!

Sophia decided she likes holding "baby" Addison before she goes to sleep at night.  So sweet!

Pumpkin carving!

Sophia loved being Doc McStuffins this year!  We went to our first Fall Festival at her school and she loved it.  There was a petting zoo, rides, games, bounce houses and food.  She did everything, but I think her favorite this year were the bounce houses and petting zoo!

We made and decorated Halloween cookies!

Sophia with the 3 pumpkins she decorated this year!

Our little cupcake!  I LOVE this costume.

We had a blast on Halloween night.  The girls were both so excited!  We started off by going to our neighborhood Fall Festival.  There was food, bounce houses, pony rides, a small petting zoo, balloons, the playground, and of course our neighbors :)

Sophia trick-or-treated for a good hour!  She even came home once to get a drink and empty her bucket.  This girl has energy!

After trick-or-treating at a few houses I went home with this sweet girl and handed out candy.

Pumpkin Patch!

We took a trip to the Dallas Arboretum a few weeks ago to see their gorgeous pumpkin patch!  I love doing this every year and always try to get a few good photos of the kids.  I think we got a few good ones but a family shot was impossible!  After we were finished with pictures the kids had a blast playing in the pumpkins, running around and having a picnic lunch.  We love fall weather around here!!

Addison's 1st and Sophia's 3rd Birthday Party

Sophia and Addison have birthday's less than 2 weeks apart so we felt like it made sense to have a joint birthday party...especially since all of our family has to drive in from out of town.  So this year we celebrated Addison's big FIRST birthday and Sophia's THIRD birthday!  My girls are growing up so fast!!

We all had a great time at the party!  It was at our house and all of the girls' family and friends were able to come which made it so special!  Everyone played, ate lunch, and then went outside for the "zoo crew" presentation!  We got to pick 8 different animals to come and our presenter talked about them and let the kids touch them if they wanted to.  Sophia LOVED touching the animals!  Then we went inside and sang Happy Birthday to the girls and had cupcakes and ice cream...yum!

The kiddos did so good at listening to the zoo crew presentation!
Petting the chinchilla
This baby had to miss her nap and was a bit tired.
It was a nice day but warmer than I would have liked because of the sun...definitely did not feel like Fall!
Russian Tortoise!

Our cousins (minus Jules)!!
My girls :)
Having fun with the parakeet!
Singing Happy Birthday to Sophia!  This is the first year she blew out her candles.
Singing Happy Birthday to Addison!  Her face is a little shocked.
I'm holding her hands so she won't grab the candles :)
She tasted the cake but then quickly started crying...too many people staring at her!
We had birthday cupcakes the day after the party and the girls wore their party hats again!
I got real smiles this time!
Addison happily wore her hat and tried her cupcake too!
And I think she liked it :)

Jeramy and I are so thankful to our family and friends for helping us celebrate our sweet girls on their birthdays.  Having all of you all here made the day/weekend so much more special and I know the girls feel the same way!  They got super spoiled with new clothes and toys and are having so much fun with their new stuff.  Until next year!
