Sophia is Three!

Three years ago Sophia made me a mommy.  It is by far my favorite title in my life. We love our sweet Sophia so much!!  She is such a smart, sweet, fun and happy little girl.  Three years has gone by so quickly.

 

She is bright and inquisitive and has a great vocabulary!  She is incredibly fearless and loves to jump, run and basically do anything that is active.  She surprised us this summer when her favorite thing to do was jump off the diving board!  She is really reserved and shy at first and especially in new situations but comes out of her shell much faster these days.  She loves her family and close friends and her little world (her home, her toys, her routines).

 

Sophia still loves babies and anything to do with her babies.  She is starting to like princesses more and more.  She has a new found love for her blocks and building and she still loves all animals!!  She also really likes "getting ready" with mommy.  Her imagination is just amazing and I love watching and listening to her play...especially when she involves Addison.  It is just so cute.  She likes puzzles, books and coloring but only if I sit with her.  Her favorite book right now is Llama Llama Red Pajama.  Her favorite cartoons right now are Dora and Peppa Pig.  Playing outside is of course her favorite thing to do.  She always takes at least one of her babies outside to swing and ride bikes together.

 

Sophia is becoming very independent.  She likes to pick out her own clothes, (try to) get dressed by herself, buckle her carseat, etc.  Sometimes she also acts needy and wants to be held and taken care of which is normally when she is tired.

Sophia loves her baby sister and is very good to her!  She loves to play with her and make her laugh and she has even told me that Addison is her best friend! :)  Of course they can still fight like sisters, but you know!  She also really loves her puppy dog Abby!  She is finally (kind of) big enough to walk Abby, which she loves to do!  Sophia just loves her dog, she is the best!

 

Sophia had her 3 year appt last week and her stats are:
Height: 37 1/2 inches - 70%
Weight: 32.4 pounds - 75%
BMI: 16.1 - 65%
