Sophia and Addison's Birthday Party

This year we had another joint birthday party for Sophia and Addison.  Sophia turned 4 on September 19th and Addison turned 2 on October 2nd.  The party was at Play Street Museum and it was a princess theme which was picked out by Sophia!  This was the first time we have had a party somewhere other than our house and I have to say that it was a big success.  It was so much easier and less stressful...which is exactly what I wanted since I was 35 weeks along with Baby Vivian.  The girls love Play Street and had a blast at their party with their friends and cousins.  And they had fun all weekend with their grandparents being in town!  Here are some pictures from the party.

 

First Day of Preschool!

Sophia and Addison started preschool on September 9th and 10th this year.  Sophia was very excited to start school and will be in the 3's class and is going 3 days a week.  She has several friends in her class this year from the previous year, which she was happy about.  She is also super excited about her princess backpack and lunchbox!

 
Addison was excited to start school as well!  She was so ready to learn new things and socialize with new friends outside of our house.  She is in the toddler class and is going 2 days a week.  She cried at drop off the first few weeks, but it would only last a second because I always peeked in after a minute and she was always happily playing.  It helped that our next door neighbor is in her class and they have become good friends!!

Happy 4th of July!

This 4th of July was our last holiday at our old house!  Jeramy's mom and dad were able to come into town to celebrate the 4th with us and also help watch the kids so that we could get some packing done.  It was less than 2 weeks until our moving day at this point!  We still had fun eating yummy food and doing lots of swimming. 

We Moved!

Other than expecting baby girl, our family has had other big changes!  We moved this July!  We will definitely miss our old house and all of the memories we have from the 5 1/2 years we lived there! And we are missing the pool since we moved in the middle of the summer.  But, we LOVE our new house!  It is a new build and so far we are just really happy here (it has been 5 weeks).  We have worked almost every night on unpacking and setting up, ordering window treatments, or other misc. things.  There is a lot to do when you move and having 2 young kids does not make it easy!!  But, we are starting to feel kind of settled.  Sophia and Addison have adjusted really well and also love their new house.

We have a huge backyard now that the kids love!  You can kind of see it in the pictures below.

In other big news, to make room for our growing family, we traded in my Acura and got a new car!  It is pretty big, but I'm getting used to it. :)  Jeramy was nice enough to hang a tennis ball in the garage to make sure I don't dent our new house, or car...

Sophia's Last Day of Preschool

Sophia had her last day of preschool in the 2 year old class on May 28th.  I took some pictures but never posted them.  I'm so proud of her and everything she learned this last school year!  And yes, you can see Addison through the window watching us take pictures.  I can't trust that girl to not run away from me!!

And for comparison, here she is in September on the first day of school.  I think she has grown up so much!!!
