Bluebonnets!
Here are our bluebonnet pictures for this year! We had to squeeze them in over Easter weekend. I'm glad we were able to go take them before all of the bluebonnets were gone! I am happy with how they came out, especially the 2 girls together!

Six months!
Addison turned 6 months old today! I know I say it all the time, but can't believe she is already 6 months old. Having two kids has kept me really busy and I feel like the time has really flown by this time around. Addison is still the best baby, so sweet and always happy. We love her so much and have enjoyed every minute with her.
I took her to the doctor today and she is doing great. First of all her stats:
Weight: 18 pounds 6 ounces (90%)
Height: 26 1/2 inches - (75%)
Head circumference: 16 1/2 inches - (35%)
This month:
- She started rolling over from stomach to back and is getting better at that. She still gets stuck and very frustrated when she tries to roll from back to stomach.
- She is not sitting yet but is getting close.
- We started her on solids a few weeks ago and she loves them! So far she eats 2-3 tbsp of rice cereal for lunch and normally 1 whole jar of fruit or veggie for dinner. She likes apples, pears, bananas, carrots and sweet potatoes.
- Wears 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers
- She is sleeping from about 9pm-8am. She also still takes 3 naps a day with the longest being about 2 1/2 or 3 hours in the afternoon.
- The last few weeks have been rough at night. Addison has been waking up every few hours and I'm pretty sure it's due to teething. Some nights are better/worse than others, but please let this end soon!! I stopped swaddling her this month which has also been an adjustment.
- She found her feet and loves to play with them.
- She loves to grab anything and everything and sticks all of her toys and hands in her mouth.
- She started taking baths with her sister and they both love it!

She loves her jumper!!
We love nice weather!

Vegas Vacation
Jeramy and I were able to go to Las Vegas for 4 full days in March! We had a fabulous time sleeping in, eating way too much at wonderful restaurants, drinking as much as we wanted, going to 2 awesome shows, walking around the beautiful hotels, and of course gambling. We had so much fun and were so thankful to both of our parents for taking such great care of our girls.
We got to fly first class! (It was my first time!) So that was exciting.
We loved the Mandalay Bay!
We may have had a few of these drinks. :)
This is the chicken and waffles at our favorite restaurant - Hash House A Go Go.
On our way to dinner and to see The Beatles Love!
This is Jeramy after he won over $700 on the penny slots!!
I guess you could say we had a lucky trip! We won a good amount of money mostly on penny slots. :) More importantly, we had so much fun!! Until our next vacation....
Five Months Old
Our baby girl is 5 months old! Sweet baby girl is growing up too fast...I am trying to savor these baby days as much as possible.
- This month Addison weighs 16 pounds and 6 ounces. Big girl! :)
- Her loves are: mommy, being near Sophia, bath time, putting things in her mouth, sucking her fingers, her pacifier, eating :)
- Pretty happy all the time and super ticklish...love her giggles!
- She is still sleeping decent at night, from about 8:30-8ish...but wakes up once every night to eat. She naps 3 times per day with the longest nap in the afternoon. Still swaddled.
- She eats about 6 times a day.
- Still no solids.
- She is wearing size 2 diapers and size 6 or 9 month clothes.
- She had her first sickness this month...luckily just a cold.
We brought out the exersaucer and she loves it!
My little shopping buddy :)
Sophia likes to help her play.

Love Day
Valentine's Day was so much fun this year! Sophia got to have a party at preschool and then we did some fun stuff at home to celebrate with the girls. Jeramy and I did not go out but we did celebrate at home with flowers, chocolate and wine!
She's ready for school!
So excited for donuts!

4 Months Old!!
Our precious girl turned 4 months old on February 2nd! Addison is still such a laid back baby...she is definitely becoming more aware of her surroundings and loves to smile and laugh. She has started noticing her sister and thinks she is pretty funny. Oh, and Addison is super cuddly. She loves for me to hold her and just rests her head on my chest... I love it. :)
We went to the doctor yesterday and Addison is doing great. She had to get 2 shots and she did much better this time than at her 2 month appt...just cried for a second then was fine. Addison is still a very chunky girl but is also very tall...so basically just a big girl!
Here are her 4 month stats:
Height: 25 3/4 inches (90%)
Weight: 15 pounds 10 ounces (90%)
Head: 16" (40%)
•This month Addison went to sleep around 8:30 or 9 and woke up around 5 to eat again, then back to sleep until 8:30ish.
•She is taking 3 or 4 naps per day, depending on the length of her naps. I think she sleeps about 4 hours during the day.
•She still eats 6 times a day and still just milk.
•She still has only rolled over twice...although she seems to be more active lately and trying to do it again. I think her weight might be holding her back!
•She still really likes her hands.
•Still sleeping swaddled at night time and nap time. I forgot when we are supposed to stop doing this...it is working so well for her right now though!
•Likes to stick all of her toys in her mouth and grab at all of the toys on her mat.
•Enjoys sitting in the bumbo to watch me cook, eat, do dishes, etc.
•Loves bath time!
•Loves laying on the changing table and getting her diaper changed! I will miss these days as I know they will end soon.
Okay, here are some pictures of our 4 month old!
Loving the bumbo!
Does anyone else have the problem of older siblings stealing baby toys?? :)
Those legs!! :)
Sweetness.

Stay At Home Mom
The Leonard family has news!
As of the beginning of January I am officially staying home with Sophia and Addison! This was a very difficult decision for me and I weighed the pros and cons numerous times...but in the end I knew that staying home with my kids was the right decision for our family. While I am so excited to be able to spend every moment with my two babies and have been wanting this day to come for a while...there is definitely some anxiety about my new "job". I know from talking with my mom and several of my friends that being a Stay at Home Mom can be very, very challenging. While I have always been sad about sending Sophia to day care and missing out on time with her, I will admit that it was sometimes kind of nice to drop her off and let someone else deal with the tantrums, diapers, feedings and everything else that comes with taking care of a toddler. However, even when I was at work, my heart and mind were always on Sophia. I am so ready and feel so blessed to be able to stay at home full time with Sophia and Addison. I feel so excited to take on this new role and I can't wait to see what the future holds for our family!
